Burberry Prorsum 2013

Burberry Monday!   Fall 2013 collection showed, slick fabrics, hearts, leathers , knits and animal prints. Looks like Christopher Bailey  designer for  Burberry Prorsum , selected lots of spicey  textures to capture the buyers attention. Unusual for the  brand to show so many fashion mixes. Yet, those  pretty little heart bags will probably be a hit come fall.

Designers Hernandez and Jack McCollough staged a positively sophisticated show,  The stunning textures seems to be nubbly old fashioned boucles and tweeds  paired with ultra smooth soft fabrics.  The collection makes me want to go out in white today. The designers worked their magic for Proenza Schouler. Looking forward to seeing their clothes in the shops this  fall!

Alexandre Herchcovitch designs

Once in awhile you come across a collection that is different, certainly not ordinary.  Alexandre Herchcovitch's collection  caught my eye.  Many of the pieces where not normally what we see on a fall runway especially on the east coast, However Alexandre is a brazilian  designer  and the collection represented his floral inspiration.  I happen to find these clothes very interesting and like  his experimenting with color, floral and layering.  Would like to see more of his style in the basics.

Rachel Zoe 2013 to Love

Happy Friday !  The weekend is here and time for the closet overhaul.  My box is ready, out with  the old and in with new.    After seeing   Rachel Zoe's new collection I'm excited. Not only for Rachel, because she really knocked it out it of the park with  a beautiful line of clothes showing fine workmanship. The runway was full of wearable  feel happy clothes.  Love the ankle leather slacks and bell bottom suit pants.  Rachels sweaters look like hand knits and her palette of color is perfect for street wear
