The Work Shirt

 Now that we have  holiday shopping added to our  list of things to do, you may find it difficult  to relax and kick back for the next few weeks. One of my favorite ways to get comfortable in down time,  is to throw on my over sized denim work shirt. The  fabric is soft and the color blue is calming.  Sometimes I wear the blue work shirt with tailored black slacks or a pencil slim colored skirts. The shirt sets a tone and mood that makes you want to chill out!  Bye for now, C

Leather Lunch Bag

It's the weekend!  Hope all is peaceful and everyone made it through black Friday shopping. Wanted to chat about the  leather lunch bag that is still a sort after fashion accessory. It's  Jil Sander's version of the brown paper bag.

What makes a lunchtime staple worth the equivalent of one month's car payment? Well, this bag is actually made of brown paper that is laminated with a protective coating, stitched in brown thread at the sides and has holes to ensure that your ham and cheese sandwich gets plenty of ventilation.

When the bag  hit stores, where it reportedly sold out quickly. A version in black leather, priced at $630, was also snapped up  just as fast. Well thats fashion!
