Spring Favorite

Chloe Spring Clothes ooze softness!  Light airy fresh and wearable.  It doesn't have to be   tight colored jeans for  keeping up with trends. Relax with your style and be comfortable.  On my recent drive through Manhattan the day was sparkling,  here are a few photos of new bloom in the streets.
                                                                 Happy Weekend!

Quote for Today!
Enjoy every moment of today, because you are not guaranteed a tomorrow. Don’t put off your dreams. Don’t wait to do, try, enjoy all of those “someday” items. Don’t tell yourself I’ll do it tomorrow. If it’s important to you, then DO IT TODAY.
Pay attention to what is happening now, to the people around you, to the task at hand and to all of the choices you make today, big and small. What you do today, determines what tomorrow will bring. Our future is set by what we decide and act on today.

Phillip Lim Pastel Parade

Pastel Friday has arrived!  Phillip Lim designed a stunning collection for spring. Although I  reported on his spring clothes awhile back, just  couldn't resist posting photos once again of his soft mint, lavender and sherbet shades of silk.  Have fun this weekend . Don't forget to color your eggs!

Iceberg for Spring

Happy Spring lovely people!  Researching spring fashion I came across the house of Iceberg!  Refreshing , casual  style with a pretty palette of colors.  Here is a little about the company
Iceberg is an Italian luxury fashion design house. Founded in 1962 by Silvio and Giuliana Gerani, the house produces women’s prĂȘt-a-porter, accessories, and fragrances. It is part of the Gilmar group. Its headquarters are in San Giovanni in Marignano, Italy, and it has boutiques and outlets in cities across Europe, primarily in Italy but also in London, Paris, Moscow, Kiev, and in Kuwait City and Dubai. The founders' son Paolo Gerani is the creative person and the manager.

Have a wonderful Day!

Starting as knitwear specialists, Iceberg were an early proponent of the concept of fashionable sportswear, later expanding into leatherwear and jeans.

Sweaters are an important business for Iceberg. You couldn't be sure if the intarsia knit dress with a woman's face on the front was meant to be Rampling back in the day, but it will certainly have more hanger appeal than the bulky, braided multicolor ribbon pullovers and skirts.

The Only Way Is England

Post from our one of our Sponsors:  "Harrington Jacket"

If you’re looking to stay on trend in 2012, put down the glossy magazine and turn on Channel 4, as the return of Shane Meadows’ brilliant mini-series This is England has the fashion-forward digging out their Docs all over the UK.
Hailed as one of the most exciting programmes to hit our television screens in recent years, the series is also having a major impact on the sartorial sensibilities. Set in ’88 – the era of Mods, Skinheads, Rudeboys and New Romantics – the styling is right on trend with a key mix of prep and punk. And it’s easy to recreate the look yourself with the help of a few key pieces.
With its signature tartan lining, the iconic Harrington jacket is a mainstay throughout the series. Pair with a checked shirt – buttoned all the way to the top of course - or a Fred Perry polo for maximum effect. Or take a cue from Lol’s minimalist aesthetic and invest in a classic overcoat. The simplest way to sharpen up a look – and guaranteed to never go out of style – just throw it on over a pair of washed blue jeans for the perfect, streamlined statement. Make sure you keep it sleek when recreating this look, and steer clear of baggy or oversized items. Channel Woody’s style with a fitted Baracuta cardigan and a slim tie – with so many fashion-forward havens stocking the style this season, you’ll have plenty to choose from.

The best thing about TIE styling is that it’s totally androgynous, and works just as well on guys and gals. What better opportunity to mix n’match with your partner – just make sure you label up and don’t lose any of your wardrobe in the process!

For those looking to pull off the perfect TIE look, go one step further and combine these classic style staples – braces, slim trousers and trench coats – with a hint of punk. Pair your button-up Ben Sherman oxford shirt with some ruffed up denim (pegged at the ankles) and invest in the era’s most iconic piece – a pair of Dr. Martens. An absolute wardrobe staple that defines the late-80s and early-90s style scene, these hefty leather boots have become modern-day icons of Brit fashion, favourites of celebrities from Agyness Deyn to Daisy Lowe.  So much so, that you’d be hard-pressed to find a time when they haven’t been spotted on the feet of the fashion elite. When in doubt, don a pair of Docs to add an instant, en vogue edge to any outfit.
