Hermes Petite H

Recycling Hermes Scarves and made into necklaces

Leave it to Hermès to make recycling luxurious. The French fashion house has just launched a capsule collection, dubbed “Petit h,”that salvages defective merchandise and cutting-floor waste into high-end jewelry and decorative accessories. A collaboration between the company’s craftspeople and several notable artists and designers, the line was first presented in November at the Hermès flagship store at 24 Rue de Faubourg, Paris, where it was offered until Dec. 4.

A third collection was made available in         New York and Beverly Hills

A second collection is scheduled for Tokyo and Osaka in May, and a third will be made available in New York and Beverly Hills sometime in October. Watch a video about the collection’s genesis.

  1. I think it's a great idea . The future is all about recycling so I love the fact that so many fashion houses are starting to get interested in the concept :)

  2. I am glad you shared this very creative idea. I hope that Australian designers will also think of ways to incorporate recycling into fashion.
