Hope everyone is all rested from the holiday and ready for some after Christmas markdowns. Today, I headed down to Lord & Taylor's to find almost everything in the store 50% off. Found some great clothes on sale, with the great purchases I got excited to get back to fashion blogging. I did some research on mix and matching and came across the runway from Diane Von Furstenberg, a mix of punk chic and couture. The collection's deceptively expensive-looking, couture like touches (including the delicate pleating on that blouse) are something that team DVF is particularly proud of. A coat and skirt in matching black leather basket weave certainly was an unusual sight at the brand's Meatpacking District headquarters. We are so used to seeing the Von Furstenberg prints and this time we were presented with solids and accessorizing. Love mix of color and the knee highs.
