Last night was the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala hosted by Vogue. This year's Costume Institute exhibition was dedicated to Alexander McQueen and called "Savage Beauty". The institute embraced the work and memory of the late Alexander McQueen in grand style. The attendance was by invitation only to the who's who in the fashion world. The weather turned out to be perfect for the event and the dresses where even more stunning than last year! The McQueen exhibit will be at the Metropolitan from May 4th to July 31st. There will be 100 ensembles and 70 different accessories from the designer's 19 year career. The show's emphasis is on McQueen's exceptional pieces.
