The Band of Outsiders creative director Scott Sternberg felt the music and played it out on the runway. The label is known for a very current, urban cool-girl image. The accessories played a major part. Pairing the clothes with either tasseled loafers or ankle boots from Manolo Blahnik, and large, knitted baseball-cap “turbans”—a nod to Holiday’s headpiece of choice—Sternberg gave every look the touch of tomboy that women want from him.
