Here's a little background about Cynthia Steffe! She established her line in 1989. The style is fun, girly with lots of separates. In 1994 the label was acquired by Bernard Claus. Steffe left in 2006 and the label subsequently suffered a mini-identity crisis while transitioning between designers. Shaun Kearney recently took over the post as creative director and has been praised by critics for bringing back the familiar Cynthia look. The brand is well priced and sophisticated and this spring Shaun Kearney offered something special for every girl, from easy silk slacks and tops, shirt dresses, wonderful shorts and halter tops in warm colors of turquoise, pinks, beige's and color blocking of beige and black. Cynthia Steffe can be found at Bloomingdales. And Cynthia Steffe.com
(May I interrupt for a second) A box arrived at my door yesterday with my Feed Japan Tote! I love the bag, very well made and large! Fits my computer and notebooks! Also, it feels good that a portion of the proceeds goes to helping Japan
